With their win 1-0 against Clackamas the Centennial Eagles have advanced into the third round of the OSAA playoffs and play at Forest Grove today at 1 pm.. 

“We went to a man marking system in the midfield and shut them down,” said Head Coach Todd Saks about the win against Clackamas.

“We scored our goal by pressing them and they coughed it up.  It was ugly down the end but it all looks good in the score sheet,” said Saks about the goal that went on to win the game. 

“Dennis Bessarab made a game winning save towards the final minute or so of the game,” adds Saks. 

The Eagles played a game against Forest Grove during their non-league season and won 1-0.
