Cross Country Spotlight
UPCOMING MEET- OCTOBER 30, 2019
Cross country isn’t the most recognized sport at Centennial. With a majority of the students interests targeted towards football, I decided to take a closer look at our schools cross country team.
Cross country Head Coach, Julie Hilsenteger says that she is excited to see how the team performs at districts and believes everyone will do well.
“At districts everyone competes. Everyone PRed at the meet (Oct 10) and I believe everyone can do well at districts.”
Hilsenteger also mentioned that runner, Jason Deleon has a chance of making it to state as well as sophomore, Kim Tu and Nathan Nolte, who is the 6th fastest freshman in league.
The next cross country meet is Oct 30 at Sandy High School.
