Eagle Expo 5:30 Tonight

Students Show Class Project To Parents At Eagle Expo Last Year

This Thursday, Centennial High School will host the first Eagle Expo of the 2019-2020 school year, and it will serve as a showcase on students themselves, and any projects they have worked on so far this first semester.

There will be three Eagle Expos this year, with the upcoming one being this tonight, from 5:30-7 pm. The following ones will be held on March 12th and May 21st, all of them taking place at Centennial High School from 5:30 and ending at 7:00 p.m

One of the people who have worked to help this event come to fruition is Adriann Hardin, a teacher at CHS.

“Since it’s the first one of the year, we want many parents, families, and community members to come see the high school. It’s kind of like an open house, and it builds a sense of community,” Hardin says.

“Everyone is welcome to come up. If you have little kids, it’s great for them to come up too,” she said.

“I think the important thing is that it takes a lot of time for everyone in the building to put an event at this magnitude, for administration, for staff members,” Hardin said.  “Everyone who participates deserves a huge thank you,” she continued on.

“The students will probably be asked by at least one of their teachers to participate, and if they can, it would be great for them to participate. If they can’t participate, even coming on the 17th and walking around, seeing what all the people are doing is still a great thing. We just want a lot of people here to see all the cool things that are going on,” said Hardin
