Posture Affects More Than The Spine
Have you ever thought about the effect that your posture has on your health?
Not just the health of your spine, but the rest of your body as well?
The spine contains thousands of different nerve endings that can affect the functions of internal organs.
When the spine is out of alignment, it can cause some of those nerves to become pinched, hindering their functionality.
This leads to many issues that typically affect the health of internal organs; nerves that conduct pain are the slowest nerves in the body’s system.
When something is out of place with the spine, we don’t feel it immediately. It takes a certain amount of time until pain develops in those areas.
Often times, we try to remedy this pain by cracking our backs, but this only provides temporary relief to this pain.
When backs are cracked, we shift the discs in our vertebrae near the area discs that are out of place, pinching those nerves.
More often than not, it won’t actually fix the problem.
These issues can be caused by a number of things but most often is caused by bad posture.
Being hunched over cellphones, computers, and other devices is not uncommon in our society, and many experience negative side effects that mainly deal with their posture.
So it’s important when we have these issues to schedule an appointment with a physician and a chiropractor, as it can affect more than just the health of the spine.
