ASB Application Materials Due April 19
Student Council (ASB) applications for the 2019-20 school year are now available!
Student Council is a class and group that are involved in many extracurricular events outside of class.
ASB stands for Associated Student Body; they represent the student body and organize events around the school.
Activities Director Jimmy Mei said “students should be expecting to put in a lot of hours outside of school time.”
This includes helping out and volunteering at school celebrations such as Homecoming, Winter Formal, Prom, Unity Week, Eagle Fest Week and sometimes, attending leadership conferences. Students also learn valuable life skills in this class.
If interested, pick up an application from Mei in the student council room, room 176.
All application materials are due April 19 by 3 pm.
In addition to applications, ASB elections are coming up April 24.
“Make sure to vote for candidates you believe will do a good job leading,” said Mei.
