MEChA Hosts Multicultural Night February 27
Multicultural night at CHS is a very fun event that showcases many different cultures and traditions. This year MEChA is organizing it; MEChA is a club at Centennial that brings awareness to different cultures.
Multicultural night will be held on Feb. 27 in the auditorium and cafeteria. There is going to be free food and activities. Buffalo wild wings is donating food and there will also be Indian and Hawaiian food.
In addition to the food and activities, there will also be performances by students. A few of these are Bollywood dancing, Folklorico dance, Tongan dance, and rap.
The doors open at 5:30 and the performances begin in the auditorium at 6:00. MEChAs’ publicist, Reynaldo Memije-Cortez said, “It is an opportunity to express students culture at CHS”.
Multicultural night is fun for the whole family come and watch performances then head down to the cafeteria to get free dinner and participate in activities. The teacher advisor for the club Julia Kirkpatrick said “There is free child care,” so your whole family can come and enjoy the evening.
