The 2-12 Eagles play the #9 ranked Barlow Bruins tonight in hopes to avenge a 50 points loss earlier in the season. In their last win over Centennial, Barlow shot 77% in the second half.

“Last game we didn’t execute offense, we need to control the tempo (of the game) and get them less possessions,” said Head Coach John Poetsch.

The Eagles played the Clackamas Cavaliers Monday in a close game that ended in a 64-66 loss. “We had some determined possessions and much better competitive effort. Some guys made substantial efforts,” said Poetsch.

“(Our goals for the rest of the season are) pick up more wins, improve and progress. If we don’t win at least to narrow the point margin,” said Poetsch.

Jimmy Barton had 29 points against the Cavaliers, Andrew Caron added 17 points.

During finals week, the Centennial Eagles played the Gresham Gophers and the Central Catholic Rams.

The Eagles played on January 23rd and lost 51-67 against the #25 ranked Gophers.

They played on Jan. 25 and were blown out by 43 points by the #5 ranked Rams in a 85-42 loss.
