The SLIP Test, or language proficiency test, will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 3-5 pm. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to four credits of language credits for graduation!

Counselor Kayci Emry said,“It’s a great opportunity to prove knowledge and gain credits for it.”

The cost to take the test is $25.

“If anybody wants to take the test but can’t afford it, talk to your counselor,” said Emry.

In addition, if students have completed the form, SUN will provide transportation home.

The languages being offered are Arabic, ASL, Bosnian, Chuukese, Farsi, Karen, Romanian, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Zomi.

The SLIP test form and fee is due to the bookkeeper by the end of the day December 19.
