Everyone, it’s flu season and here are some tips on how students can be safe and keep good attendance, as well as staying healthy.
Here are a few things students can do to stay healthy during the winter season: avoid others who are sick, cover hands and mouth, and of course get the flu shot.
The best way to stay healthy is to just avoid exposure to all and any sickness if possible.
Another thing to keep in mind is that it can be risky to get the flu shot when previously sick.
A way to get better is to take medicine, stay home to avoid getting others sick, and see a doctor if the symptoms get worse.
Mostly younger and older people are at risk more than adults, which is a good thing to be aware of, said the school nurse.
Also, she mentioned that the flu shot is specific towards whatever illness the student has; it could have many effects towards helping them feel better.
