Aaron Bids Farewell To XC Season
Cross country ended a couple weeks ago. We as a team did not make state nor did girls and boys as individual athletes, but that’s ok, we will just do better next season.
There was a lot of excitement and pressure because this was our last meet of the season and it was a home meet as well as a district meet. In the end, the team did very well.
It was very fun and enjoyable for everyone although it was also the last time running for seniors who are graduating this year. As much as this was the last time running this season, for others it was the last time running for the cross country team ever.
As a team, we just went out and ran and had fun with it.
A lot of people got personal records as well as best time season wise this meet.
Sergio Luquin stated, “Everyone tried their hardest and I’m happy for everyone.”
Also Jason DeLeon said, “We put it all on the line and gave it our all.”
In the end, the team was awesome. We tried our best and had fun while doing it.
We cannot wait for next season. This was my first time running this year and everyone made it very welcoming. I cannot wait to see new faces and returning athletes next season.
