The girls soccer team is now 4-2 going into their last non-league match after beating Newburg 5-2 Tuesday night.

“It’s not the team with the best players that win, it’s the players with the best team that wins,” says Eagles midfielder freshman Emily Teyema.

Head Coach Kelsey Birkofer says, “We fought to the last minute of the game and never gave up,” in the 5-2 victory against Newberg.

The Eagles will play their last non-league match against Silverton away on Monday, at 7pm.
