Team Speaks Well At State

Last weekend, Speech and Debate did very well at State.
Tabarek Al Saood took first place in LIBELL (Literal Interpretation by English Language Learners).
Emma Dobesh was recognized by the assembly for being the Heart of the Arts Award recipient. This award is given to one student from eight states.
“They are an amazing team. I’m honored to watch how they have built a tight-knit community. They lift each other up and encourage each other,” said Speech Coach Jen Loeung.
“It was amazing to see Emma Dobesh win The Heart of the Arts award out of people from eight other states,” said Loeung.
