Boys Rugby Looking To Get Back On Track
Boys Rugby is off to tough start, starting off the season with a 0-3 record on the year. The three losses have come to Oregon City 40-5, Battle Ground 35-0, and Prairie 35-0.
Despite the slow start, the team is focusing on keeping a positive mindset and being competitive in games. Building and improving will be key throughout the season. Improved scoring will be critical for the Eagles’ success this year.
Currently, Centennial is in a three-way tie with Lincoln and Summit for last place in the Varsity Premiership. Battle Ground, Oregon City, and Reynolds are all in a three-way tie for first place.
The next game will be against the Portland Pumas at 1:30 pm at Delta Park #9. The Pumas are one spot ahead of the Eagles in the standings. Portland lost close matches to Oregon City and Prairie, while easily defeating Lincoln.
