The 3-18 Centennial Eagles face off against the 5-16 Gresham Gophers at 7:30 pm tonight. The Eagles are coming off a tough 3-game losing skid since facing off against Clackamas. But they’re trying to turn it around with these last three games.

The season has seen many changes for the Eagles. While their defense has been stellar all year, offense has been a problem. Many players have been coming in and out of the rotation, trying to figure out what lineups are the most effective and who plays together the best. Tommy Andersen a Junior guard has stepped up and has been a big part of the rotation for the Eagles and has been averaging 12 points per game, and is providing a spark of excitement for the team.

Although the season hasn’t gone as planned, the Eagles are still trying to finish strong and end it on a positive note.

Senior guard Chris Cernatescu said this about closing out the season, “For me it’s all about having fun and enjoying these last couple of games, I’ve gotta give it my all.”

Senior Tj Tyler also had this to say about the year coming to an end, “I’m just trying to go out here and win to end the year on a positive note.”
