Peacock Lane: Established in the late 20´s, Peacock Lane has served as Portland’s flagship ¨festive¨ location for 60-plus years.  An historic neighborhood filled with old, tudor styled homes covered in unique and creative lighting.  Attending details: December 15th – December 31, 6 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pedestrians only. Festival of Lights: The Festival of Lights is a great opportunity for a bright and fun Christmas experience. Located in Northeast Portland, the Grotto has continued this tradition for 29 years, December  2017 being the 30th anniversary.  The Festival features nearly 160 indoor performances from local choirs, as well as puppeteers and carolers outside.  Attending details: November 24th – December 30th, nightly 5 to 9:30 p.m. (

Zoo Lights: Featuring more than a million LED lights, the Oregon Zoo’s annual ZooLights Display is a breathtaking experience. This tradition is one both familiar and beloved to the majority of Oregonians.  Most animals will not be out, but the beautiful illuminated walk through the zoo compensates for their absence.  Attending details:  November 24th – January 7th. Winter Wonderland at PIR:  Tired of walking?  Try driving through the scenery! Considered the largest holiday light show in the Pacific Northwest, Winter Wonderland at the Portland International Raceway boasts more than 250 light displays, and features special dog-friendly and bike-only nights.  Attending details:  November 24th – December 26th.
