First-year science teacher Lisa Veatch resigned because her position was reduced to 0.67 from full time.  June 19 will be her last day at school.

Veatch was hired in two parts last fall; .67 probationary and .33 temporary.  The temporary piece expires at the end of this year.

Veatch will pursue a full time job in the area but doesn’t know where she will land, yet.  She is hoping to teach science again soon, but in the meantime and is going to hangout with her son and enjoy life for now.
