REAP’s new program “Renaissance” is for African American males, says site coordinator Daniel Shelton. On Dec. 1 Renaissance members dressed for success to show self-assurance, self-presentation, respect of self, perseverance and to feel important. Participants felt that when they were dressed up they were respected and complimented more, said Shelton.
