On Nov. 5, the Centennial Hi-C dance team came off with a great start to their season as they placed 2nd in Novelty at their first competition at David Douglas High School.

“I’m so proud of my girls.  We worked hard and have really improved this season,” said senior Cheng Lee.

They competed at Clackamas High School for their second competition and came back even better placing 1st in Novelty and 4th in Contemporary.

Their next competition will be Feb. 4 in Stayton.
