For all seniors who will be attending college or trade programs in 2017-18, now is the time to apply for financial aid.

The opening date for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) was moved to October 1.

For anyone looking at scholarships it should be known that they need to have all their FAFSA info.

Anyone looking to apply for financial aid for college should start applying as soon as possible because as Sally Menolascina says, “It’s a big pile of money. Apply before it runs out.”

For those who don’t have access to computers, on October 20 (conferences) there will be computer help in the college and career center.

There will also be continuous help and opportunities throughout the year in the college and career center.
