The Speech and debate club offers its members the opportunity to earn three various credits. One for college, and two for high school.  The club meets first period as well as before school on Wednesdays from 7:15-8:00 and after school on Mondays from 2:45-5 in Edgar Perez’s room (134).  Every school day there is speech practice in room 125 from 7:05-7:35 am, with Jen Loeung.

Loeung says taking speech and Debate has multiple helpful benefits such as opening up doors to help students get more speaking scholarships, and meeting students from other schools during debate tournaments.
