The Softball regular season concluded with a 10-7 loss to Forest Grove in a home play-in game.

The team finished with a 9-17 overall record, went 4-10 in league play, and ranked 32nd overall in the state.

Coach Steve Baker has been pleased with the contributions from his entire team from top to bottom.  Baker said the main contributors of the team included Jill Uyeda, Cailin Warner, Katie Atkinson, and Caitlin Gaylord who made

impacts both offensively and defensively for the team.

Coach Baker reached a large milestone in 500 career wins this season.  He entered the season with 495 wins and has been coaching for 35 seasons.  Baker took a humble approach regarding the 500 win milestone saying with a laugh, “You’re only as good as your last win.”  He also said that he is not content at 500 wins and hopes to continue to reach other even bigger winning milestones in the future.

Softball will begin again next Spring with Coach Baker returning to coach the team.
