Seniors Facing What’s Next
While a lot of seniors know what they want to do after graduating high school, some seniors might be worrying about what happens next.
There are a lot of options that can be intimidating, but with the right people to help, they can help students figure out what they want to do.
At the end of the year, seniors will take a survey to statistically see what they will want to do after graduating. Last year, 35-37% were planning on going to a four year university, and 10% straight to work. For students that are a little unsure after high school, a two year community college is a good way to get their general education out of the way.
“Sometimes figuring out what you want to do means figuring out what you don’t want to do,” said counselor Brandon Coupe. For more information, seniors can make an appointment to talk to their counselor.
