Spring sports are here which means girls tennis is back!  This will be Coach Ben Petersen’s fourth season with the team and he’s very excited for this year.

Last year the girls won four matches, but this year they are projected to win a minimum of six matches, he said.  Petersen believes juniors Madison Scully and Brittney Pioquinto and sophomore Kailea Messenger are looking to have breakout seasons.

For the Eagles to be successful Petersen said, “We need to play smart and have dedication.”  The first match was supposed to be yesterday but it was cancelled due to weather.

The next match will be tomorrow at 3:30 pm against Central Catholic at Parkrose Middle School.
