On March 17 and 18 the tiled floors in the weightlifting room are scheduled for removal.  The installation of new floors is scheduled for Spring Break.

PE teacher Luke Franzke said the floors have been rising and causing damage to the tiles since the beginning of the school year.

He said that over the past couple of years the floors would  “bubble up”  but the problem could be fixed.  But now the custodians are not able to glue the tiles back down because of how bad it has gotten, Franzke said.  

Franzke said, “This whole process has been stressful because we wanted it fixed as soon as possible, but I’m just finally glad we’re going to have a new whole new floor.”
