Seniors: Watch for Application Updates

Laura Popescu, Editor-In-Chief

Like previously mentioned in my prior article on senior’s last minute checklist here, there is a lot to be done in very little time as the time for deadline’s narrow.

In accordance with our counseling department, they have provided a last-minute to-do list to help each student get on track before graduation comes rolling in.

  1. Check the status of your college applications. Usually school will send an email about incomplete applications and let you know if they have received everything needed for submissions.
  2. Make sure to apply to file your taxes if you work. UPDATE FAFSA if this step is taken.
  3. Finish up scholarships/keep tabs on due dates. February and March are big months for due dates.
  4. Star enrolling! If you’ve gotten accepted and know where you want to go, enrolling and gathering more information for your freshman year of college is very important.
  5. Finish your senior year right. Don’t give into the famous “senioritis” but rather end your year at CHS ready to move on in style.

From all of here at CHS, may the rest of your year be bright and full of opportunity…
…or not. The choice is yours.
