On Jan 7, Centennial hosted the MHC Sight Reading Festival. Sight reading is reading music. Six schools–with a total of 400 students–attended.

The process was quite simple. A professional musician came in, explained how sight reading would work during a state competition, and then everyone practiced it.

According to Brice Cloyd, the festival was a success.
