Upcoming Changes in SUN Program
Students should look for January changes and additions in the SUN program. “We’d like to get a lot of students involved in it so that it’s just not one or two working really, really hard,” said SUN Coordinator Katie Lauderdale.
Of particular interest might be the Study Café which will be held throughout Finals Week in the Community Room. Drinks such as tea and hot chocolate will be provided for free, and the area will be dedicated for those who want to stay after to get a little more study time in. Food will also be provided. Along with a SUN bus which will leave at 3:15. “We’ll set it up like a coffee shop,” said Lauderdale. “I’m really excited!”
SUN is also working with the counseling office to help disseminate FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Night information. FAFSA Night will be held in January. More information can be found in the counseling office.
Lauderdale urges students to stop by the SUN office, across from the Counseling Center, for information on all SUN programs.
