Basketball season is coming up and Coach Osa Esene is confident in this year’s team. The varsity roster consists of mainly returning players who work well with each other due to their close relationships.

Esene hopes that this season will help improve the team’s overall work ethic and thinks that the team will be able to compete with anyone.

“Obviously we respect Central, but we’ve got guys who can compete with them, and our biggest competition is ourselves.” Esene is looking forward to the team pulling out the unexpected and expects a lot from each player, he also encourages everyone to come out and support. Tryouts were yesterday, today, tomorrow and Thursday, first official practices will begin on Friday. The first game will be in the beginning of December.
