The show must go on even as Illness forces Alleger to “Leav(ing) Iowa”

Centennial Drama Club’s Fall production is a comedy with some sentimentality. “Leaving Iowa” is a “love letter to anyone who has been on a dumb family road trip,” said actor Antonio Lucero. Initially, Zach Alleger was supposed to star as Dan, yet due to health issues, Lukas Hurley replaced him. The play will also star Kaden Moss as a younger Dan, Lucero as the father, Emily Brady as the sister, and Miranda Rettinger as the mother.

The first showing is on November 5, and begins at 7:00 pm. Other dates are November 7, 12 and 14. Prices will range from $6-10, and the box office will be open at 6 pm.
