Eagle Expo is an event held only for seniors. It is a graduation requirement where seniors will have the opportunity to present what they have learned. They will need to share some things about themselves, such as any work experience they may have and any accomplishments throughout their high school years. They will also need to tell the interviewer what interests them.
It is a great opportunity for students to get used to real job interviews and to let them know what to expect from real-world job interviews. It is also a good way for teachers to learn more about their students and their interests. It is a great way to bring more parents and community members together so they can learn more about Centennial.
There are many requirements that seniors will need to meet for them to pass Eagle Expo. Here are the things they will need to do. Seniors will need to articulate what they plan to do after graduation such as whether they plan to go to the military college or if they’re going to enter the workforce and how they came to that decision. What classes they have taken that could help them accomplish their goal and how those classes have helped them build their skills additionally seniors will need to describe any awards or honors they received in their years at CHS. They will need to be able to describe what their plan is for how they will accomplish their goals and if they have a backup plan. Some of the questions they will be asked are what was the most beneficial part of going through this process? And any additional questions posed by the interviewer. Seniors will also be able to ask any questions they have to the interviewer,
Some seniors don’t feel like Eagle Expo should be a graduation requirement. When I asked senior Jashuan Tompson whether he thinks Eagle Expo should be a requirement he said “No I do not think it should be a requirement but it should be optional”. I also asked how Eagle Expo might help you with a real-world job interview. “I don’t think it will help me personally. Mainly because I’ve already been through job interviews but I think it will help other people who are new and have never done job interviews before. I think it will help people learn what it is like and what they can expect from a real-world job interview”. A lot of seniors feel Eagle Expo shouldn’t be a requirement for graduation because they feel it’s just another hoop they need to jump through to graduate.
