On Feb. 1, Centennial High School’s drama department competed at Regional at Rex Putnam High School. Regionals is a theatre competition where students perform the pieces they have been working on in class for judges. The top 20% is recognized, and everyone who attends gets feedback. The top 10% of actors who get recognized then go on to compete at State, which is where the schools from all over Oregon perform their scenes for judges in Salem. CHS had many students competing in sections such as Duo Acting, Solo Acting, Large Group Musical, Small Group Musical, and Solo Musical.

• Sy Willingham, senior

Solo Acting, Top 10%

• Sam Bass, senior

Bass will now be competing at the Oregon Thespians State Festival with their monologues.
