Snow Days Don’t Automatically Extend School Year
There has been much talk about having snow days. If CHS misses just a few days worth of school time due to weather then it will be made up for in other ways. Assistant Principal Terrance Schol Schloth says t “late start Wednesdays” and conferences are things that could “add back [lost] instructional time.” Assemblies could be cut as well. It all depends on how many hours of schooling are lost, “Where we are in the school year and the flexibility of our schedule,” he said.
But rest assured, unless there is a significant, long-term cancelation, the snow-pocalypse isn’t coming and we will end school on June 11.
