There is a small, but mighty team of mature aged women at Cherry Park Presbyterian church located at 348 S.W. Cherry Park Road, Troutdale, OR 97060 (about a minute from Reynolds HS) who have been coordinating with a local Slavic church (off of Holgate) per their request for more clothes and shoes for the number of refugees being relocated to Oregon.

If you’re interested in sharing extra clothing from your closets, they’d be extremely grateful. They only ask that if you give socks/underwear that they are new. The women have especially requested IF possible, they’d like dresses/skirts, etc.

The lovely contact person is Pam at 503-839-2449. She lives near the church and is willing to the best of her ability to work around your schedule. Please call and make arrangements and she’ll open the church to drop off items, then the women work with the Slavic church to drop off the donated items with their volunteers.
