SPRING BREAK UPDATE – INTERVIEWS WITH STUDENTS AT CHS

Q1. “How was your spring break?”
A1. “It was pretty boring compared to others.”

Q2. “What did you do during spring break?”
A2. “My insurance money kicked in so I got glasses. I had my teeth fixed up, [I] made new friends, played sports, and watched movies.”

Q3. “Do you wish spring break was longer?”
A3. “No, I enjoyed the length of it.”

Q4. “Was there something you wanted to do during break that you didn’t get to do?”
A4. “I guess just be happier and focus on my mental health.”

Q5. “Did you enjoy the weather during spring break?”
A5. “Yes I loved it. I’m enjoying the Oregon weather. Some days were sunny and others were rainy. It’s very different from California weather.”

Q6. “Do you have any recommendations on what to do during any break in general?”
A6. “I say practice things you want to get good at, do the stuff that makes you happy, and go outside.”

A1. “It was pretty good.”

A2. “I hung out with friends, drove around, buzzed my hair. And, I went to Beaverton to go skate and ended up losing my Airpods in a field.”

A3. “I say just be outside, that’s it.”

A4. “I did, it was very nice. The rainy days sucked though, I still found things to do.”

A2. “I got my nails done, got a new phone, came out of the psych ward, and I went to the Reynolds fair with my boyfriend and friends.”

A3. “I recommend you get a job, go out, and socialize with people.”

Q4. “Is there anything you wanted to do during break that you didn’t get to do?”
A4. “I wanted to go out of state and get piercings.”

A5. “Yes, because when I went out it was really nice and sunny and I didn’t have to worry about rain.”

A6. “No, because I started missing school during break.”

A2. “I caught up on sleep, I got new speakers for my car, I worked, and I hung out with my girlfriend and friends.”

A3. “Yes, because one week was not enough.”

Q4. “Was there anything that you wanted to do during spring break that you didn’t get to do?”
A4. “I wanted to go to a car meet but it was too far and I didn’t get to do the school work I wanted to do.”

A5. “Work, catch up on things like school work or chores at home.”

A6. “Yes I liked it, it was sunny for the most part.”
