I was finally able to find Mr. Bates in the many classes that you can find him in, and had the chance to interview him about not being a full time specific teacher.

How do you feel about being a full time teacher but sub most classes?
“I enjoy how I still get paid without having a lesson plan, and I’m able to explore new and different subjects.”

Do they notify you about what classes you’ll be in all day?
He proceeds with, “Wherever he’s needed he goes to – sometimes he can choose but usually not.”

What are your favorite classes to cover?
He stated, “I like English classes because it makes me feel like a real English teacher again because I used to be an English teacher.”

The only class that Mr. Bates teaches is senior success which is a third period class.

I asked Mr. Bates what senior success was for the people who may want to know and he stated that, “Senior success is basically graduation preparation which helps you figure out life after high school, like schools, jobs basically everything and anything after high school.”
