The fall play is Shakespeare in Hollywood. Freshman Maggie Redden, a cast member in the play says, “Set in the 1930’s, making a movie of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. Two of the characters, Oberon and Puck from the actual play travel to the 1930’s to the set of the play, and end up playing themselves.”

The first showing is on Nov. 1 at 8 pm. Other showings are on Nov. 3, 8, and 10 at 7 pm.

Tickets for the general public are $10, while it costs $8 for kids 17 and younger. Admission for CHS students is $5.

The director of the play, Kellie McCarty says that it was a lot of fun, and that the show is very funny. “A lot of the characters are based on real life, so it’s fun to research.”

State Improv/Drama

Instant Improv was held last Saturday at McNary High School. Only one group of finalists did not contain a Centennial student. Jigme Norbu, Trenton Ruffin, and Philip Koshuba were all finalists, and Kalil Ford won his event.

Choir Concert Schedule

The next choir performance is at The Grotto on Nov. 29, at 7 pm. The holiday performance will at 7 pm on Dec.13 in the CHS auditorium.
