The Hi-C’s perform on March 3rd at the Metro Dance Festival in preparation for their state competition. Annie Ellett was very proud of how they performed at state.

The state competition for dance recently took place on Friday, March 16 at the Memorial Coliseum, and Centennial competed at 6:13 pm against the 23 other 6A teams.

For the preliminary round, Centennial ended up placing 14th out of all the 6A teams.

Although Centennial did not make it to Saturday’s final round, Anne Ellett, the Hi-C’s dance coach, remains optimistic and stated that the Hi-C’s “weren’t disappointed and we have no regrets,” Ellett said.

“We had a great routine,” she remarked.

“We thought they were (all) fabulous,” she said, when referring to the 23 other 6A teams that competed against Centennial.
