On November 6, the football season came to an end for the 15th ranked Eagles with a 34-22 home loss to the 18th ranked Tigard Tigers in the opening round of the State Playoffs.

Despite the earlier than hoped exit, assistant coach B.J. Basinski still viewed it as a successful season, “We had a great season, it was very good that we finished at 6-3.”  He also noted the significant improvement compared to last year’s season.  “We had a nice turnaround, a great accomplishment.”

Basinski believes that next year will be another strong season with lots of key returning players including: Jadon Pickles, Tyson Regimbal, Jesse Porter, and Henry Button.  He also pointed out that there are a lot of players ready to contribute who played on the Junior Varsity level last year.
