Head Coach Todd Saks is excited for this year’s team and said the players have been a “great surprise” and that they are seeming to mesh well as they figure out their roles in the system of play.

Freshman Bryan Sanguino has cracked into the starting line-up for the 3-2-1 Eagles and Saks says he has made an immediate impact on the team.

While every coach would like to make the playoffs, Saks said if that happens the team will take it one step at a time at that point.

The boys are really focused this year and are hungry to bring the Conference title to Centennial,” he said.

The score from last night’s game was 3-1 against Canby, Eagles record improves to 3-2-1 and they play again on Sept. 18  at Wilson High School.
