With conferences around the corner, we get two extra days of spring break. For students, Spring break will start on Thursday the 22nd and we come back on April 2nd. This is the first break we have had since winter break. People do a lot of different things, such as stay at home and relax to go on vacations. I went around the school and asked several students what they had in store for them over the break.

Senior Austin Ada said, “We have a baseball tournament throughout the whole break. I’m glad I get to spend it doing something I love.”

Senior Yuriy Kleshchev said, “I’m going to get back into chess tournaments and also keep working on my magic.”

Senior Anthony Barber said, “I’m going to hang out with my friends, play basketball, and work on my music.”

Senior TJ Tyler said, “I’m going to work on my game and also spend a lot of time with my family.”

Junior Aleck Gabriel said, “My family and I are going to the beach and are going to enjoy our week together.”

Senior Kathleen Pham said, “Sadly, I’m going to be spending a good amount of my time working and doing homework.”

Everyone is doing a variety of things whether it is sports, work, homework, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends and family. Luckily, break is coming at a perfect time this year as the sunshine is finally starting to come out and the weather is starting to heat up. Hopefully by the end of next week, the weather gets even warmer.
