Saturday, February 17th the State swimming competition took place at Mt. Hood.  Only one student qualified at Districts.

In order to move on to State you have to win at Districts, which Senior Tim Ly did in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke.  

Ly placed last year at state as well,  and had an overall impressive four years on the swim team.

“He had a great season and a great career. This was a great way for him to end his high school swim.  Tim placed in 4th last year as well,” said coach Rod Lundgren.

“Season-wise I think I did well in my dual meets.  State-wise I placed better than I did last year.  It’s kind of sad thinking about it being my last season, the time flew by really fast,” said Ly.
