GRUNT Applications Available; Program Offered To Sophomores And Juniors

GRUNT (Greenpaces Restoration & Urban Naturalist Team) is a volunteer environmental science and job skills program that connects youth to nature and environmental careers.

During our 10 Saturday sessions, participants go on exciting environmental adventures, conduct real scientific research and try out 5 different environmental jobs.  All successful GRUNT graduates are guaranteed paid summer work with the Youth Conservation Crew or Nature Day Camp. Teens volunteer a total of 65 hours and if the school allows it they can obtain credit for their volunteer work.

Application is due by February 21, 2018.
