Centennial girls junior Elva Mendez-Martinez (far left) and senior Eunice Moreno (far right) dance around guest Julio Perez in the first performance at the Multi-Cultural and Resources Night on Tuesday. This was a traditional Mexican dance called “Baile Folkorico” that often performed during parades and other celebrations. Approximately 250 people attended the event that was hosted by SUN and MEChA. MEChA Advisor Edgar Perez-Brambilla said it was a successful night with many English Language Development parents and students in attendance.
